The window case next to Dufflet’s at 787 Queen West will feature the obsessive collections of the artist, in this case, TTC transfers picked up on his daily walk to and from his studio, paper cup bottom remnants of his daily coffee picked up at Dufflet’s at the same time every day and a steel Spitfire, just because he wanted to make one. The artist will be around at some point every day. Probably around his morning coffee break.

The full title of the painting which inspired our magazine title is Homo sapiens, Lepidium sativum and Calliphora vomitoria - a wise man, some cress, and a bluebottle. It is the work of British artist Stuart Pearson Wright.

"At the end of the first sitting, the Prince inspected the work and exclaimed 'godzooks' or 'godzounds', the artist was too alarmed to remember which."
