Meet Stuart Wilson, aka bigfix, a recording engineer, producer and promoter, who has just started his own label. bigfix is planning a showcase and party for September to launch their EP and promote local artists, the multimedia event will feature a live set and videos of bigfix artists, local bands, DJ and open mic, performance, graphic and visual artists, raffles and local businesses with bigfix connections. All profits will go to a local charity, the $5 ticket price will include free bigfix CD – Gadzooks will keep you posted on the event!
 

Where did you grow up? Why?
I never did, I prefer to keep the child inside alive

2 years from 97 – 99, then 3 years from 05 – 08 = 5 years time-served

A stripper in a go-go bar in Berlin (I’m making this up)

My art & anybody else’s who happens to board the bigfix train

What are you working on these days?
I'm in the process of recording the 3 track 'brutal honesty' ep featuring hooperstar on lead vox & tex on guitars...people have started calling it 'electro-rock', I prefer to call it music, but we're all subject to the pigeon-holing, genre nazis!

Worst public moment?
I was fronting a keyboard duo in Leicester, England, in 93, the Atari 1040 crashed so it became an a capella performance

Why do you live here?
Toronto is my chosen home & the vibe is perfect
