Meet Jason Lefave, a Toronto programming fanatic and cat enthusiast. You might run into him in the Annex, or see him out on the highway on his motorcycle.
Where did you grow up? Why?
Just outside Toronto. That’s where my parents lived.
How long have you been in Toronto?
In Toronto proper? 22 years.
Toronto is…
A concrete jungle that is mysteriously very green, looking from the CN Tower observation deck, (at least in the summer).
What do you do for a living?
I program computers.
What keeps you busy?
My wife.
What was your favourite summer job?
I’ve never had a summer job. After school jobs that I worked in the summer. Besides, it’s work. If you had the summer off would you like whatever you had to work at as opposed to being off?
Dream job? Why?
Programming. It’s what I was built for.
What’s your passion?
See above.
If I say jump?
Who are you?
What do you give back to the No Fly Zone?
Apparently nothing, except perhaps lunch money.
What can we do to make Toronto a "world class" city?
I thought we were already there. Or fire Miller.
Are you an artist?
In my own nerdy way.
How does art influence your life?
It doesn’t really until I have to paint a room in my home.
Hands or feet?
Hands.
Worst public moment?
I could tell you but then I’d have to sew your lips shut.
Why do you live here?
English is my only fluent language, so it’s either here or Britain, and do you have any idea how expensive Britain is?
Two Beatles left: Ringo and Paul. Who wins in a smackdown?
I have no reason to believe they would have a “smackdown”. Who wrote these questions anyway?
Favourite public space?
The Louvre.
Who are your favorite artists?
I don’t really have a favourite. I have broad tastes.
Mon Chi Chi, My Little Pony, Barbie? discuss.
Something parents can spend a lot of money on for their kids because they’re fed this commercialistic crap from almost all media.
