STUFF HAPPENING
UP THE JUNCTION

The next-big-thing neighborhood celebrates its centennial this coming week with their annual arts festival. From September 3 to 7, there will be lots of fun found on Dundas West between Keele and Quebec. There is a juried art exhibition, music and dance performances, live words and children’s events. Check out the mainstage, next Friday night, where Gadzooks favourite country crooner, Justin Rutledge (a native of the hood) will be performing at 9:30 PM.

INGRID KAY AT CRYPTIC CANVAS
OPENS FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 12
7-MIDNIGHT
Ingrid Kay exhibits a selection of new landscapes concentrating on light and colour. Figurative aspects lost in a haze of light render nature’s extraordinary atmospheric effects. Relying on the conception of image rather than structural details, Kay’s work welcomes her audience into a romantic world of mystery, beauty and reverence. Exhibit will run from September 12th to 28th.
Gallery Location: 8 Waterloo Terrace, Toronto (King & Bathurst) (Waterloo intersects with King St. at 624 King Street West)
