This is Jeremy Lynch

Where did you grow up? Why?

London , England – my Nan

London, Ontario – public school

Toronto, Ontario – university

South East Asia, Central America, Europe, Middle East – eyes opened

Berlin, Germany - art

How long have you been in Toronto ?

For a long time, now though I am here just temporarily, going back this Saturday, my German wife is here on scholarship with U of T. Berlin is where home has been for the past five years.

What keeps you busy?

Art and street art

What do you do for a living?

Art and if I have to, some silly bugger temporary joe-job and then save the money like a squirrel awaiting a cold long winter. My wife and I are very frugal, no cell phones or credit cards, anything that has a monthly bill attached from a corporation we are allergic to. Sure we have some bills, home phone, internet and rent, but we try to minimize the damage. Less is more, baking our own bread, cooking and biking everywhere saves you a lot of money, stress and time. I am into my art and my wife is into her studies, she is going for her PhD in medieval art history. So therefore we make a pittance of money, but who so happen have addresses in both Berlin and Toronto . In other words money can and should be ignored, just don't get into debt; you definitely do not want to be the bank's bitch.

What's your passion?

Art

If I say jump?

I jump for no one and I expect no one to jump for me.

What do you give back to the No Fly Zone?

Street art that jolts people from the everyday, please look out for it.

What can we do to make Toronto a "world class" city?

KILL the car.

Are you an artist?

Of course.

Hands or feet?

or

How does art influence your life?

positively

Worst public moment?

Like my Nan always said, “If you worry what other people think, you will never get anything done.”

Who are your favourite Toronto artists?

xoro, a minimalist street artist belonging to the alien art corps, a temporary contemporary art movement that's very secretive. In other words I have no real ideal about this group, it might even be an individual. A complete mystery, perfect.

Mon Chi Chi, My Little Pony, Barbie? discuss.

Consume, consumer, consume.
