Part of the Summerworks program Raven For A Lark by Elise Newman (Dainty Duck) tells the tale of two actors, inspired by revenge in Shakespeare's tragedy, who go dangerously far to put on a good show. Aug 3 at 7:30 pm, Aug 5 and 11 at 4:30 pm, Aug 7 at 6 pm, Aug 9 at 9 pm, Aug 10 at 10:30 pm. Factory Studio.

Saturday, August 4 at the Cameron House see The Wanted a t 6pm, then it’s Girls Girls Girls (pop/rock) all evening.

The Art Bar Poetry Series reopens at its new home, Clinton’s Tavern, on Tuesday, August 7, when the organizers will announce the winners of the first annual Art Bar poetry contest: please join us for a special night with door prizes and featured readers John Donlan, John B. The full title of the painting which inspired our magazine title is Homo sapiens, Lepidium sativum and Calliphora vomitoria - a wise man, some cress, and a bluebottle. It is the work of British artist Stuart Pearson Wright.
